Nagon (Assam), 30 May (HS): A horrific road accident took place in Rampur Satra area on the road connecting Batdrava Dumdumiya. A motorcyclist killed on the spot in this accident.

Police said on Friday that the deceased was going towards Dumdumiya on a motorcycle, when he lost balance and fell near a new culvert under construction. The collision was so severe that the person killed on the spot.

Local people allege that the organization which is carrying out this construction work did not put any kind of warning sign on the road. This negligence led to this accident.

As soon as the information of the incident was received, Batdrava police reached the spot and took the body in possession and sent it for post-mortem. The deceased has not been identified yet.

Police is investigating the matter.
