Srinagar, 30 May (H.S.): In a virtual meeting from Detroit, USA, Kiran Wattal, convener Mata Kheer Bhawani Mela Yatra Welfare Society, appealed to the Hindu community in general and Kashmiri Pandits in particular to participate in the upcoming Mata Kheer Bhawani Yatra.
He assured that all necessary arrangements are in place to ensure a smooth and hassle-free pilgrimage.
The meeting was attended by Prem Sharma, vice chairman, M.K Yogi, general secretary, Ravi Bakshi, secretary and Kamal Ganjoo, media incharge.
The Society has confirmed that transportation, boarding and lodging arrangements have been made by the concerned departments for the pilgrims.
Wattal announced that all necessary arrangements for the pilgrims have been made by the concerned departments under the leadership of CM Omar Abdullah and patronage of Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha with the blessings of Mata Kheer Bhawani.
He said that a 24×7 Langar will be available for pilgrims from June 1 to 4, 2025 and expressed gratitude to the Warehouse traders and fruit and vegetable Mandis, Narwal for their generous contribution for the Langar.
