Lucknow,

29 May (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the Vikasit Krishi Sankalp

Abhiyan in Lucknow. Under this campaign, officials from different departments

will go to rural areas to solve the problems of farmers. Chief Minister Yogi

Adityanath said that the Vikasit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan organized on the death

anniversary of Chaudhary Charan Singh has commenced. This is important in many

aspects. For the first time scientists are going to the village. The campaign

running from today to June 12 will fulfill the concept of the campaign of

Developed India. Under this campaign, farmers will be explained the methods of

modern farming. This will bring prosperity. In 11 years, there has been

innovation in farming across the country. MSP has been fixed. Farmers are

getting good seeds. Lab to Land campaign is starting. This will change the

picture of the country. Agricultural scientists will also assess the climatic

zone in the concerned area. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the Vikasit

Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan in Lok Bhavan, Lucknow on Thursday. Under this campaign,

officials of various departments including Agriculture Department, Horticulture

Department and Animal Husbandry will go to the village and give information

about the schemes and solve the problems of the farmers.

Addressing

the program, he said that the eight-year government of UP has made many

innovations in the field of agriculture. UP produces 22 percent of the

country's produce in 10 percent of agricultural land, but the previous

governments excluded farmers from their agenda. Farmers were worried about

seeds, fertilizers and water. Now changes are happening. Farmers are on the

Prime Minister's agenda, so soil health cards are being made. The benefits of

Kisan Samridhi Yojana are being received. The price of wheat was Rs 1000 till

2015, now it is Rs 2400 to 2800. This is an example of change in the life of

the farmer. Water worth Rs 2.50 thousand crore is being given to farmers for

free.

Earlier,

while addressing the program, Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Singh Shahi

said that this campaign is starting on the death anniversary of Chaudhary

Charan Singh. He was always ready for the progress of farmers. Micro irrigation

technology will be given during the campaign. All the departments will work

together for 15 days. There will be dialogue with farmers every day. Live broadcast

will also be done. Farmers will be explained the methods of modern farming and

natural farming. The story of farmers who innovate will be narrated to other

farmers.
