Guwahati, 29 May (HS): Ambari Fatasil police of Guwahati has arrested an accused involved in a mobile theft case with stolen mobiles. Police said on Thursday that based on the complaint of losing Vivo mobile handset, Ambari Fatasil police raided and recovered the mobile phone from the possession of a person named Gudlu Das.

During interrogation, Gudlu Das revealed that he had purchased the said mobile phone from a mobile shop located at Basishta Charali. After this, the police raided the said shop with the help of Basishta police. The shop owner Mohammad Tanveer Alam (Hathigaon) was arrested. Police have recovered 21 stolen mobile phones from the arrested accused. Police is interrogating the arrested accused intensively on the basis of the FIR already registered.
