Jalaun,

29 May (HS): A case of cheating and forced religious conversion of an Anganwadi

worker has come to light in Kadaura police station area. A Muslim youth made

false promises of marriage by mingling with the woman for four years and raped

her. During this, he also secretly made a video, after which he started

blackmailing the woman. When the victim protested, she was threatened with

defamation and death. Now the accused youth is pressurizing her to adopt Muslim

religion, after which the victim complained to the police.

The

victim told Superintendent of Police Dr. Durgesh Kumar that town resident Rish

Ahmed son of Shahid came in contact with her about four years ago. Gradually,

the friendship between the two increased and the accused made a false promise

to marry her. On this pretext, he raped the woman and also secretly made a

video. A few days later, when he again contacted her with wrong intentions, the

victim protested. On this, the accused threatened that if she complained; he

would make the video viral on social media and defame her.

The

victim said that the accused exploited her financially by blackmailing her

continuously. He wanted to take over her property and land. Along with this,

Rish was trying to get the plot and property in my name transferred to his

name. When I refused, he threatened to kill me.

Recently,

the accused started pressuring the victim to convert to Islam. When she

refused, Rish threatened to kill her with a sharp weapon. After this, the

victim gathered courage and complained to the police. On the instructions of

the Superintendent of Police, a case has been registered against the accused in

Kadaura police station on Thursday. Police station in-charge inspector Prabhat Kumar

Singh said that a case has been registered against the accused under sections

of rape, property grabbing, extortion, murderous attack, and threat to kill.
