Mumbai, 29 May (HS): Maharashtra state has become the most favoured state in the
country for foreign investment, with 40 percent of the total investment coming
to the state. During 2024-2025, out of the Rs 4,21,929 crore foreign investment in the country, Rs
1,64,875 crore was invested in Maharashtra. The investment in Maharashtra is 32
percent more compared to that of the last year. The information was given by
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
During
the last quarter (Jan-Mar 2025), the state received foreign investment of Rs
25,441 crore. The state broke the record of the last ten years.
Fadnavis
thanked the people of Maharashtra for their support to his government. The
growth of the state will continue under the leadership of his colleagues, Deputy
Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar and Industries Minister Uday
Samant, he added.
