Mumbai, 29 May (HS): Former Medical Superintendent

of Pune’s Sassoon Hospital, Dr Ajay Tawre, has been arrested on Thursday in

connection with the alleged Kidney Transplant Racket.

Pingle said that Dr Tawre was the chief of the Kidney Transplant Committee in 2022.

A case involving fifteen individuals, including some staff members of the

hospital, was registered following a complaint lodged by a woman.

Dt Tawre is also involved in manipulating the blood sample

report in the high-profile Porsche car accident case in Pune. He was arrested

and placed in the Yerwada jail.
