Chennai, 29 May (H.S.) : The Chennai All Women Police Station's Anti-Narcotics Intelligence Unit (ANIU) has arrested five individuals and seized a significant quantity of methaqualone, weighing approximately 15 kilograms. The operation was conducted based on intelligence gathered about the suspects' involvement in the illicit drug trade.

The arrested individuals are believed to be part of a larger network involved in the production, transportation, and distribution of methaqualone in and around Chennai. The police are now working to identify the source of the drugs and other individuals involved in the racket.
