Lucknow,
29 May (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday inaugurated a grand
exhibition organized under the 'Punyashlok' Pujya Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Birth
Tricentenary Year Smriti Abhiyan-2025 at GPO Park, Lucknow. On this occasion,
National General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party BL Santosh, BJP State
President Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, State Organization General Secretary
Dharampal Singh and Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya were present.
Speaking
on the occasion of inauguration of the exhibition, the Chief Minister said that
the personality and work of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar is a source of inspiration
for the Indian society and that this exhibition will make the entire state
familiar with the immense contribution of Lokmata. It will also provide an
opportunity to get inspiration from her unique work done for social harmony,
national unity and public welfare.
The
Chief Minister said that the past is not just for reading, but it is a powerful
medium to assimilate and learn from it. He said that it is necessary for us to
rectify the mistakes of the past and accept the glorious moments as ideals.
This exhibition related to the life of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar is providing us
an opportunity to introspect. He said that the all-India vision of Lokmata
Ahilyabai made her a unique model of good governance, security and good order
across the country. Her period is a living example of Indian women power,
social justice and public welfare.
The
Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,
India is reviving its great heritage and culture. It is a matter of good
fortune that continuous efforts are being made to bring the personality and
work of the great personalities of the country to the common people. In this
sequence, seminars, essay writing competitions, exhibitions, drama series, folk
song programs etc. are being organized in Uttar Pradesh from 21 to 31 May under
the 'Punyashlok' Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Janm Trishatabdi Varsh Smriti Abhiyan.
A
glimpse of connecting heritage under Modi's leadership is visible: The Chief
Minister said that we did not see the era of Lokmata Ahilyabai directly, but we
have been seeing a live vision of her ideals through the working style of Prime
Minister Modi for the last 11 years. He said that from Kashi Vishwanath Dham to
Kedarnath, from Muktinath in Nepal to Somnath, from Mahakal to Rameswaram, we are
getting a glimpse of connecting heritage under the leadership of Prime Minister
Modi.
The
Chief Minister said that today's India is not only an India of ideas, but is
also a strong example of development of infrastructure. Highways, expressways,
railways, metro, rapid rail, airways and waterways are shaping the image of new
India. He said that historic changes have also taken place in the field of
health. For a long time after independence, there was only one AIIMS in the
country. During the tenure of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, six
new AIIMS were built, while Prime Minister Modi has presented a new model of
health services to the country by establishing 23 new AIIMS.
The

'One District, One Medical College'. The National Education Policy is proving
to be a milestone in the field of education. Many schemes are being run for the
welfare of farmers, poor, workers, youth and women. He said that schemes like
10 crore gas connections under the Ujjwala Yojana, construction of 12 crore
toilets, 50 crore Ayushman cards and free ration to 80 crore people since the
Covid period till now are indicative of a new era of good governance, security
and good order under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
