28 May (HS): A female teacher has accused the dean of a local school of
pressing her for sexual favors, according to police, who have filed a complaint
and are investigating the situation. According to Sigra Station House Officer
(SHO) Sanjay Kumar Mishra, a FIR was filed against the dean of a private school
on Tuesday in response to a teacher's complaints. According to the police, the
woman said in her complaint that as she was waiting for a call in an empty
classroom, the dean stole her phone, used violent language, and requested her
to come to his flat at night. Following this, the victim was reportedly
expelled from school with no prior warning.
The
victim stated that the whole episode was caught by the school's CCTV cameras. She
also said that the dean has a history of pressing other female instructors to
engage in physical relationships, and that those who refuse are fired.
