Kanpur,

28 May (HS): Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, reviewed plans

in Kanpur ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's May 30 visit. The Prime Minister will announce projects

worth Rs 20,900 crore, including the Kanpur Metro segment, power substations,

and a thermal power extension. There

will also be important advancements in infrastructure and government projects.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

undertook a detailed assessment of Kanpur's preparations on Wednesday in

advance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's arrival on May 30. The Chief Minister underlined the importance

of tight security measures and smooth collaboration across ministries, while

officials submitted detailed plans outlining logistical and safety procedures

for the high-profile visit.

BJP

state president Chaudhary Bhupendra Singh also reached Kanpur on Wednesday to

review the preparations for the public meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi

to be held on May 30 at Chandrashekhar Azad Agricultural University (CSA)

ground.

He

said that proper arrangements for drinking water should be ensured for the

people coming to PM Modi's rally from the parking area to the stage. In view of

the heat, there should be mandatory arrangements for shade, water and first aid

at all the entry gates.

Bhupendra

Chaudhary inspected the arrangements at the five entry gates of the meeting

venue. He asked all the officials to work in coordination with the officials of

the administrative staff engaged in the arrangements. He said that the Prime

Minister's public meeting should be grand, well-organized and historically successful.

State President Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary left for Farrukhabad after inspecting

the meeting venue.

It

is noteworthy that this is Narendra Modi's first visit to Kanpur after assuming

office as PM for the third time. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the party

workers regarding this. The district and police administration, along with

party officials, are continuously inspecting the public meeting venue.

Prime

Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to come in Kanpur Nagar to launch

development projects worth roughly Rs 20,900 crore. Among these is the opening

of the Chunniganj to Kanpur Central Metro segment, a key component of the

Kanpur Metro Rail Project that cost more than Rs 2,120 crore and has 14

stations, five of which are underground. The Prime Minister will also address

electricity infrastructure requirements by laying the groundwork for a 220 kV

substation under YEIDA in Gautam Buddh Nagar and inaugurating crucial 132 kV

substations in Greater Noida, totaling over Rs 320 crore. In Kanpur, he will launch the large Panki

Thermal electricity Extension Project and the Ghatampur Thermal Power Project

units, both of which aim to increase the state's electricity production.

To

improve infrastructure, Modi will open rail overbridges and a treatment

facility to boost water management.

Under his direction, road connection projects will be boosted, with

major regional advantages expected. Aside from infrastructure development, the

Prime Minister intends to provide certifications and financial help to various

recipients through important government initiatives, demonstrating a holistic

approach to the region's prosperity and welfare.
