Guwahati, 27 May (HS): Basistha police conducted a search operation in Kalahikash area under Bongaon under Boko police station area, in which a thief was arrested. The accused has been identified as Taher Ali (40).

Based on the information received from the arrested accused, police conducted another search operation in West Boragaon (Kolbagan) area under Gorchuk police station area. During this, police arrested his accomplice Rupchand Ali (31).

Police recovered and seized a Realme mobile phone, a Samsung Galaxy mobile handset and clothes worn at the time of the crime from the spot. Police is investigating the case.
