27 May (HS): Gopaldas, a handicapped priest from Kannauj district, met
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during the Janta Darshan held at Gorakhnath
temple on Monday. He praised the Chief Minister for his continuous work for the
preservation and development of religion and culture and also told him about
the obstruction in the construction of Bajrang Bali temple in Kannauj. He said
that some people are not allowing the construction of the temple. On this, CM
Yogi assured him that an investigation will be conducted and fair action will
be taken. No one will be allowed to act arbitrarily.
As soon as the Chief Minister met
handicapped priest Gopaldas, who was seated on a chair in Janta Darshan, he
inquired about his well-being and the purpose of his visit to Janta Darshan.
Gopaldas told that he has come from village Tada Raipur of Saurikh police
station area of Kannauj district. He is the priest of Bajrang Bali temple
there. The temple is being reconstructed but some people of the village are not
allowing the construction to happen. After listening to his problem, Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath said that he will get it investigated and ensure
action. Priest Gopaldas seemed satisfied with the assurance of the Chief
Minister. He said that CM Yogi is getting the state developed all around along
with protecting religion and culture.
