Pune, 27 May (HS): Out of the present 1037.16

million cubic foot water in Baramati Tehsil of Pune district, 812.67 million

cubic foot water was received during the heavy rains during three days. The water

is being stored in 237 percolation tanks, 42 Kolhapur Type Weirs,160 Storage

Dams, and other projects under the Irrigation Department. The Department is

working on war footing to store the water properly.
