Ramban, 27 May (H.S.): Director Health Services Jammu, Dr Abdul Hamid Zargar, conducted a comprehensive review of the healthcare infrastructure and services in Ramban district during a meeting held at District Hospital (DH) Ramban today.
The session was attended by all Block Medical Officers (BMOs), district health officers, and nodal officers of Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS).
Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Ramban, Dr Zadoo, briefed the Director on the implementation and progress of various health schemes under the CSS. Dr Zargar held detailed discussions on each scheme and issued strict on-the-spot directives to the BMOs, instructing them to conduct in-depth review meetings at their respective block headquarters to ensure effective execution and monitoring.
The Director also took stock of the preparations being made for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra. He sought a detailed report from the CMO regarding health arrangements along the yatra route, emphasizing the need for seamless coordination and readiness.
Dr Sanjay Sharma, Deputy Director, Dentistry, was also present during the meeting. The review highlighted the Department’s commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery across the district and ensuring efficient medical support during the yatra.
