Wardha, 27 May (HS): Fake websites are being used to extract money for death/ birth registration. The government authorities

and local self-government agencies have appealed to the people to take care

while applying online for death or birth certificates.

The sites are similar to the original ones. The

sites like CRSORGIGOOVI.IN; CRSRGIIN; BIRTHDEATHONLINE.COM invite online

registration, and on applying, demand money for registration.

For registration of death or birth Gramsevak,

Municipal Officer, or Health Officer may be contacted. A complaint relating to

fake websites may also be registered with the local police or health

department.
