Kabir N, 26 May (HS): Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of
528 development projects worth Rs. 1,515 crore in Sant Kabir Nagar. On
this occasion, he talked about the rejuvenation of Baba Tameshwarnath Dham and
developing it as a grand pilgrimage site, calling it a step to strengthen the
cultural and spiritual identity of the region. In his address, the Chief Minister expressed his
commitment to develop Baba Tameshwarnath Dham as a well-organized and grand
pilgrimage site on the lines of Ayodhya and Kashi. He said that Baba
Tameshwarnath Dham will be connected with a beautiful corridor, so that devotees
get the opportunity of safe and convenient darshan. He clarified that no one
will be displaced in this work, but the interests of local businessmen and
Gosains will be taken care of with systematic rehabilitation. He said that
today's program has been possible due to the grace of Baba Tameshwarnath.
Rejuvenation of pilgrimage sites is the power of double engine government:
Giving the example of the rejuvenation of the grand temple of Lord Ramlala in
Ayodhya, Kashi Vishwanath Dham in Kashi and Maa Vindhyavasini Dham, he said
that these pilgrimage sites have proved the power of the double engine
government. Today 50,000 devotees can visit Kashi simultaneously, while 10,000
devotees can visit Maa Vindhyavasini Dham simultaneously. Baba Tameshwarnath
Dham will also be given a similar grand look. The Chief Minister called upon
the administration and the local community to work responsibly in this
direction and assured that if the action plan for the development of the Dham
comes to him, it will be approved soon. He said that this will be a step to
strengthen the identity of Sanatan Dharma. Baba's blessings will be seen
showering on the people of Sant Kabir Nagar.
Development projects will raise the standard of living of people: The Chief
Minister said that the projects worth Rs. 1,515 crore inaugurated and laid the
foundation stone today will enrich various aspects of life like tourism, roads,
drinking water, health, education, sports, and municipal buildings. The Chief
Minister said that these projects will give a new identity to Sant Kabir Nagar
and raise the standard of living of the local people. On this occasion, the
Chief Minister visited the exhibition based on the famous brass industry of
Bakhira and described it as a major source of employment for local artisans. He
said that the bronze utensils of Bakhira have got a new identity under the ODOP
scheme. He said that 1.65 crore youth have got employment opportunities from
ODOP in the state. Referring to the grand organization of Mahakumbh in
Prayagraj, the Chief Minister said that this time more than 66 crore devotees
reached the Mahakumbh. This is a symbol of the strength and organization
capacity of the new India.
Government committed to deliver schemes in all 75 districts without any
discrimination: The Chief Minister mentioned public welfare schemes like
Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, free ration, toilets and Jan Dhan, which he
described as the carriers of change. He said that today funds have been sent
directly to the accounts of parents of 1.5 crore children for uniforms,
shoes-socks, bags and stationery. Also, programs were organized to increase the
quality of education in 826 development blocks of the state. He said that today
along with the beautification and strengthening of dilapidated schools, emphasis
is also being laid on employment opportunities for the youth. He said that in
the last 8 years, 8 lakh youth have been given government jobs. He said that
recently more than 60 thousand youth have been given jobs in UP Police.
Reiterating the resolution of double engine government, the Chief Minister said
that our government is committed to deliver schemes in all 75 districts without
any discrimination. We are working with full readiness for the saturation of
whoever is deprived.
This is New India: In his address, the Chief Minister presented the picture of
New India and New Uttar Pradesh. He said that 10 years ago people did not
believe that India would have facilities like world class highways,
expressways, metro, waterways, and rapid rail. Today the link expressway of
Purvanchal Expressway is connecting Sant Kabir Nagar to Ambedkar Nagar and
Gorakhpur. The country's first waterway and rapid rail are being operated in
Uttar Pradesh.
Cheques, house keys and laptops-tablets handed over to the beneficiaries:
During the program, the Chief Minister distributed certificates, keys, laptops
and tablets to the beneficiaries of various schemes. These include a grant of Rs.
3,36,151 to Adarsh Kumar Pandey under PM Micro Food Upgradation Scheme,
laptop to Kumari Shreya Yadav under
Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana, Amarjeet Chaudhary honored as district topper in
UP Board High School, laptop and tablet respectively to Abhijeet Kumar and
Rishita Patel under Swami Vivekanand Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana, tractor key to
Rajendra Prasad under Rural Entrepreneur Scheme, demo check of Rs. 12.48
crore under Community Investment Fund Rural Livelihood Mission to Lakshmi and
Sangeeta Devi, revolving fund of Rs. 24.60 lakh under National Rural Livelihood
Mission to Poonam Gupta and Kanchan Lata,
loan of Rs. 5 lakh under Chief Minister Yuva Udyami Yojana to Rajan
Singh, Vishwajeet Chaurasia, Sunaina Maurya and Akhilesh Kumar, sports kit to
Ankita Chauhan under Yuvak Mangal Dal Sports Promotion and key of house to
Subhavati Devi under Awas Yojana.
On this occasion, Minister in charge of Sant Kabir Nagar district Vijay Laxmi
Gautam, MLA Ankur Raj Tiwari, Ganesh Chandra Chauhan, Anil Tripathi, MLC
Santosh Singh, District Panchayat President Balram Yadav, BJP Regional
President Sahajanand Rai, District President Neetu Singh, former MP Ashtabhuja
Prasad Shukla, Praveen Nishad, former MLA Rakesh Baghel, Jai Choubey and other
public representatives were present. A large number of local people also
participated in this historic event. A short film based on the development of
Sant Kabir Nagar was also screened in the program.
