NEW DELHI, 26 February (H.S.) : Attacking Rahul Gandhi and

Uddhav Thackeray, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale said, These people

always want the votes of Hindu community, yet they did not go to Mahakumbh. I

think Hindu voters should boycott them. Lakhs and crores of devotees are

reaching Mahakumbh every day and taking a dip in Ganga and Sangam, while on the

other hand, a lot of politics is being done in this matter. Union Minister

Ramdas Athawale has said that voters should boycott Rahul Gandhi and Uddhav

Thackeray for not visiting to Kumbh Mela.

Union Minister Ramdas

Athawale on Wednesday claimed that Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray and former

Congress President and LOP Rahul Gandhi have insulted the Hindu

community by not attending the Mahakumbh and Hindu voters should now boycott

them.

Athawale, a prominent

Dalit leader of Maharashtra and an ally of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP),

said that Uddhav Thackeray talks about Hindutva, but does not participate in

the ongoing Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. He said, “Thackeray and the Gandhi family

have insulted Hindutva by not participating in the Mahakumbh. Being a Hindu and

not going to Mahakumbh is an insult to Hindus. Now Hindus should boycott him.” Union

Minister of State for Social Justice Athawale said that they should have

participated in the Mahakumbh keeping in mind the sentiments of the people.
