Mahakumbhnagar,
26 Feb (HS): On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, Uttar Pradesh's
Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi along with former
Prayagraj Mayor Abhilasha Gupta Nandi took a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam
with their family. Paying obeisance to Maa Ganga, they offered a chunari and prayed
for people's welfare.
Minister
Nandi said that Maa Ganga is not just a river but a life-giving stream of
Sanatan culture, devotion and salvation. Bathing in these holy waves is a
precious moment of self-purification, where faith and divinity unite. He called
upon the devotees to follow the path of religion and spirituality and described
the festival of Mahashivratri as a symbol of Shiva worship, service and
resolution.
He
said that the divine and grand event of Maha Kumbh 2025 under the leadership of
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is a unique
confluence of India's cultural heritage, spiritual consciousness and faith.
This Maha Kumbh is realizing the spirit of 'Ek Bharat-Shrestha Bharat', where
the whole world is witnessing the grandeur of Indian culture.
