Baksa (Assam), 26 February (HS). Manas Winter Festival has organized for the first time in Panbang city of Bhutan. Official sources of Bhutan said on Wednesday that this festival was organized for two days at this place full of natural beauty, the main objective of which was to promote tourism in Bhutan.

It is noteworthy that this festival was started on the occasion of the birthday of the King of Bhutan on 21 February. The event was decorated in a completely natural way without plastic, in which an attempt was made to show the traditional lifestyle of Bhutan through houses and shops made of banana leaves, bamboo and wood.

The festival showcased Bhutan's traditional food, music and culture, as well as local food, drinks and organic vegetables were also kept for sale. This festival will also help in strengthening the friendly relations between India and Bhutan. Apart from the local people, many tourists from India also arrived on both days and enjoyed the festival.

On this occasion, the forest department of the Royal Manas National Park displayed photographs of rare wildlife found there. Apart from this, the Twin Waterfalls located near Panbang town has also been developed as a tourist destination to attract more tourists.
