24 Feb (HS): Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will also be present at

the closing ceremony of the third edition of Kashi-Tamil Sangam on Monday

evening at Namo Ghat. Union Minister of State Sukanta Majumdar will also

participate in the closing ceremony. Both the Union Ministers will arrive in

the city in the afternoon to participate in the ceremony. Tamil artists

participating in the cultural evening at the closing ceremony will also share

their experience of ten days in Kashi. Before this, Tamil guests included in

the last batch of Kashi Tamil Sangam attended Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple on

Sunday evening. The guests from Tamil Nadu were given a grand welcome by the

temple trust at the Ganga gate of the Dham with flower shower and sound of

Damru. The guests entered Shri Vishwanath Dham with the proclamation of Har Har

Mahadev. After having darshan of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Mahadev, the guests took

food prasad in the Anna Kshetra located in the Dham. The guests were given

detailed information about the facilities available in Shri Kashi Vishwanath

Dham and the arrangements for darshan worship. The guests seemed overwhelmed by

the welcome at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham. The guests said that they

experienced divine happiness after visiting Shri Kashi Vishwanath Mahadev.
