Raipur, 24 February (HS): Governor Ramen Deka praised the work of the Sai government in his address while starting the budget session of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly today (Monday). He said that the Sai government of the state has empowered women along with promoting digitalization. Justice has been done to agricultural laborers and work has been done to bring prosperity in the lives of farmers. The government has promoted digitalization.

In his address, he mentioned the achievements of the state government and said that Chhattisgarh has set new milestones of development in the last 25 years. Governor Deka said that the government has completed its one-year term and presented the account of its achievements before the public. New elected bodies have been formed in the urban bodies, and the triple engine government will carry out development work at a fast pace in the state.

Governor Ramen Deka said that this is the silver jubilee year of Chhattisgarh state and assembly. Naxalism is on the verge of elimination in Chhattisgarh. Farmers are being given a fair price for their crops. Farming is being promoted in the state. Work is being done on organic farming, climate change, more than 69 lakh women are getting the benefit of Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Mahtari Vandan Yojana has brought prosperity to women.

Naxalism is breathing its last in Chhattisgarh. This year paddy procurement has broken records. The state government is working towards making farmers hi-tech.

The Governor said that now shops will remain open 24 hours a day and seven days a week in the state. This will also increase new employment opportunities in the state. The government is working ahead keeping in mind the street vendors. Customers will get special facilities. Governor Ramen Deka said in his address that the government is working for a developed India, a developed Chhattisgarh. Atal ji built Chhattisgarh. In the last 25 years, many development works have been done in the state. The government is working with the resolve to develop Chhattisgarh. The government will present an account of its work. A new government has been elected for the urban area. Now the third engine government has been formed in the state. This time the people of the area have got a direct system to elect the mayor here. Youth are getting benefits from better plans in startups.

The Governor said that Chhattisgarh has got approval of more than 6000 crores in rail development in the budget of 2025-26 from the Center, which will benefit the people. This time former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel also interrupted. He said that if passenger trains are closed and people are getting upset. During the address, the Governor said that justice has been done to the agricultural laborers. Prosperity has come in the lives of farmers. Farmers are being given a fair price for the crop. Farming is being promoted in the state. Work is being done on organic farming, climate change.
