NEW DELHI, 22 February (H.S.) : Search for government

accommodation started for the newly appointed Chief Minister and Ministers in

Delhi, currently the new CM is living in her private residence in Shalimar

Bagh. She said, she will not live in “Sheesh-Mahal”. Officials of the Public

Works Department (PWD) have given some options to CM Rekha Gupta for her govt.

accommodation. Which includes govt. bungalows situated on Civil Line, bungalows

situated on Daryaganj Road and bungalows situated on Mathura Road. However, the

final decision will be taken by her in which government residence she will stay.

The search for government

accommodation has now started for the the newly appointed Chief Minister and

ministers. There is no official Chief Minister's residence in Delhi. Therefore,

whenever there has been a change of power, the residence of Chief Minister's has

been changes. Even before the Delhi Assembly elections, the party's state

president Virendra Sachdeva, Central Home Minister, Amit Shah too had said that

if BJP government is formed, its CM will not live in that Sheesh-Mahal prepared

by Arvind Kejriwal. Now that Rekha Gupta has become the Chief Minister, she has

also made it clear that she will not live in that disputed bungalow. The

irregularities in its construction are being investigated.
