Mumbai, 21 February (HS): Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has said that Pakistan is in an advantageous position in the high-profile match against India in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. He believes that the Pakistan team is well aware of the conditions in Dubai, which will benefit them.

Yuvraj said in JioHotstar's 'Greatest Rivalry Returns' program, I really think Pakistan has an advantage because they have a base in Dubai. They have played a lot of cricket there and understand the conditions well.

In the history of the Champions Trophy, Pakistan has had an upper hand over India. Pakistan has a 3-2 lead in the matches played between the two teams so far. In the 2017 final, Pakistan defeated India by 180 runs, when Indian team's star batsman Virat Kohli was at his peak.

Yuvraj also talked about the ability of the players of both the teams on slow pitches. He said, Players from India and Pakistan perform best on slow wickets, because they have always played spin well.

He also emphasized on the role of match winners in this high-voltage match. He said, Yes, Shahid Afridi is right that India has more match winners, but despite Pakistan having fewer players, any player can turn the game in their favor. India-Pakistan match is not only about match winners; it is about adapting to the situation and performing well under pressure.

India and Pakistan teams will face each other in the Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai on February 23. There is tremendous enthusiasm among the cricket fans of both the countries about this great match.
