Kochi/New Delhi, 21 February (HS): Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Friday said that the central government is working closely with all the states to make India a 30-35 trillion US dollar economy by 2047.

The Union Commerce Minister said this while addressing the Invest Kerala Global Summit 2025 in Kochi. He said that we are working closely with all the states to take the country's economy from the current 4 trillion dollars to 30-35 trillion US dollars by 2047.

Goyal, while trying to attract investors at the Kerala Investment Global Summit, said that they would soon start negotiations for a free trade agreement (FTA) with Bahrain. He highlighted the investment opportunities in the country. In his address, the Commerce Minister said that the country has unmatched opportunities for development, progress and economic opportunities.

With the continued support of the Modi government, Kerala is making tremendous progress in various sectors including infrastructure, tourism, logistics and exports. He urged investors to participate in the development journey of the state and India to accelerate global growth. The Union Minister stressed that we are working together with all the states.

On the differences between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led Central Government and the Left Democratic Front (LDF)-led Kerala Government, he said that he has come here only to show solidarity with Kerala. He urged investors to invest in Kerala and the country About 3,000 participants are expected to attend this two-day summit.
