New Delhi, February 21 (HS): BJP hit back at Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on the USAID issue and accused him of working against the country. BJP said that Rahul Gandhi is doing such work even after taking oath on the Constitution. Congress and Rahul's anti-India stance is extremely worrying.

BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia on Friday put Congress in the dock at a press conference at the party headquarters, citing Donald Trump's claims about US aid to influence Indian elections. Bhatia said that India has seen strong decisive governance under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Rahul Gandhi cannot tolerate this. He is betraying India, its Constitution and its citizens.

Bhatia said that Rahul and Congress's anti-India stance has become extremely worrying. US President Donald Trump had given a statement explaining how USAID funding was being used to interfere in India's electoral process. Before the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Modi had raised concerns with many patriotic journalists and organizations that foreign forces were trying to interfere in India's elections. The purpose of this interference was to remove Modi, the world's most popular leader, and weaken the country's pride.

BJP spokesperson Bhatia said,

US $ 21 million was given because there was an attempt to interfere in India's electoral process and remove Modi. Some newspapers and media are trying to cover it up by hiding it under the carpet. The US President himself has clearly said this and no one can have better information than him.

BJP spokesperson Bhatia said, Sonia Gandhi was the co-chair of FDLAP (Federation for Democracy and Liberty in Asia-Pacific). BJP had raised questions on this platform. We asked, why were resolutions suggesting independence for Kashmir being passed when she was the co-chair of FDLP? When we were amending Article 370 to strengthen the integrity of India, Sonia Gandhi was reportedly chairing a meeting where a resolution was passed to advocate the separation of Kashmir from India. It is clear that Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi are unable to digest the stability of the country. That is why Rahul tried to break the country through the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
