Kyiv, February 20 (H.S.): There has been a sharp reaction to US President Donald Trump calling Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky a 'dictator without elections'. Ukraine's children are angry with Trump's comments. All the political parties of Ukraine held a rally in the capital Kyiv and strongly condemned Trump.
According to The Washington Post, Trump said that Zelensky is a failure, an unpopular person. He is guilty of this war. Zelensky's insistence ended the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. Lakhs of people were forced to be displaced. On Truth Social on Wednesday, Trump described Zelensky as a dictator without elections.
Trump's statement came as Zelensky alleged that Trump has come under the influence of Russia and wants to end the war on terms favorable to the Kremlin. Trump said, just imagine, Zelensky, a modestly successful comedian, convinced America to spend $350 billion. This is a war that cannot be won. It should never have started.
A meeting was held between Russia and America on Tuesday in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, in which they discussed ending the war in Ukraine. After this meeting, US President Trump claimed that Zelensky's popularity has dropped to 4 percent, while in the latest survey, his approval rating is 57 percent. Rejecting the results of this meeting, Zelensky said that Ukraine will not accept any decision taken without its participation.
