Mumbai, 20 February (HS): Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's car has received a threat through e-mail to bomb it. Mumbai Police team is investigating the person who sent this threatening e-mail.
Mumbai Police sources said on Thursday that an unknown person had sent an e-mail to Goregaon Police Station threatening to bomb Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's car. As soon as this information was received, a case was registered against the sender of this e-mail and investigation has been started. A similar e-mail has again come to the Ministry and JJ Marg Police Station today. Therefore, the senders of such e-mails are being investigated. Along with this, Eknath Shinde's security has also been reviewed.
Earlier in January, a 24-year-old youth had threatened to kill Eknath Shinde on social media. After this incident, a case was registered at Srinagar Police Station in Thane.
