Guwahati, 21 February (HS): Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat is coming to Assam on five-day tour from 21 to 25 February. Keeping in mind the centenary year of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, this visit of Sarsanghchalak Dr. Bhagwat is a part of his tours being done in various parts of India. This information has been given on Thursday by Kishore Shivam, Prachar Pramukh of Uttar Assam Prant of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

Shivam has told that Sarsanghchalak Dr. Bhagwat will directly go to Sudarshanalaya in Borbari, Guwahati from the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport on Friday afternoon. It is noteworthy that on the occasion of the centenary year of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, he will discuss with the volunteers on topics like expansion of the work of the organization, perseverance of work, change in committee through Shakhas.

Apart from this, he will also deliver his views on how the five main initiatives being taken by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh for social transformation such as social harmony, civic duty, environmental protection, use of indigenous goods and family enlightenment can be taken to all levels of the society through volunteers. Also, he will be present in two Shakhas of the Sangh in Guwahati metropolis and will participate in the group meetings there.

On the evening of 22 February, he will participate in the meeting of Rashtra Sevika Samiti organized at IIT Guwahati. On the morning of 23 February, Dr. Bhagwat will be present in an intellectual program at the South Point High School premises in Saukuchi and will deliver an intellectual lecture to thousands of volunteers of Guwahati metropolis.

Apart from this, during his visit, the Sarsanghchalak will also participate in many other meetings, including meetings with the preachers of the Sangh. On the morning of 26 February, Dr. Bhagwat will leave for Arunachal Pradesh.
