New Delhi, 20 February (H.S.): Rekha Gupta, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, took oath as the ninth Chief Minister of Delhi today along with Six MLAs.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta unveiled her Cabinet, assigning key portfolios to six newly-inducted ministers. Here is the complete list of ministers and their departments:

Rekha Gupta (Chief Minister) – Home, finance, services, vigilance, and planning.

Parvesh Verma (Deputy Chief Minister) – Education, public works department (pwd), and transport.

Manjinder Singh Sirsa – Health, urban development, and industries.

Ravindra Kumar Indraj – Social welfare, SC/ST affairs, and labour.

Kapil Mishra – Water, tourism, and culture.

Ashish Sood – Revenue, environment, and food & civil supplies.

Pankaj Kumar Singh – Law, legislative affairs, and housing.

After taking part in Yamuna aarti at Vasudev Ghat, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta has arrived at the Secretariat to chair her first cabinet meeting.

BJP leaders during the recently concluded Assembly polls promised to implement the Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme in the first Cabinet meeting of the party government.

The Cabinet is also likely to take a decision regarding implementation of Mahila Samriddhi Yojna for monthly payment of ₹2,500 to eligible women as promised in BJP's poll manifesto, sources.
