Kathmandu, February 19 (HS): Local police has busted another gang in Nepal's capital Kathmandu for running online betting by taking a rented house. 24 Indian youths involved in the gang have been arrested.

The crime branch of Kathmandu police arrested 24 youths after raiding Budha-Nilkanth area on Tuesday night after getting secret information about online betting. During this, 21 laptops, 38 mobile phones, more than 50 used SIM cards of Indian companies, 5 routers and 10 diaries for keeping accounts have been recovered.

Crime Branch SSP Ramesh Basnet told journalists that this online betting gang was discovered when further investigation was started after the busting of another Indian gang last week. This time the members of the gang caught were trying to contact people from India, Pakistan and Gulf countries for betting in the Champions Trophy cricket starting today. Masruddin Sheikh, 23 years, Sitamarhi 12. Mohammad Nadeem, 23 years, Sitamarhi 13. Mohammad Nadeem, 22 years, Darbhanga 14. Mohammad Imran, 21 years, Darbhanga 15.
