Mumbai City FC will travel to take on Hyderabad FC at the G.M.C. Balayogi Athletic Stadium in Hyderabad in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 today on February 19, at 7:30 pm IST.

Mumbai City are sixth in the table with 31 points from eight wins, seven draws and five losses in 20 matches. They have won two, drawn two and lost one in the last five matches. Hyderabad FC are 12th in the 13-team table with 16 points from four wins, four draws and 12 losses in 20 matches. They have won two of their last four matches.

Hyderabad have conceded nine goals from headers in ISL 2024-25, the joint-most. They have kept the least number of clean sheets (2), and conceded the most goals (41) among all 13 teams.

Ramlunchunga has won possession 17 times in the final third this season, the most among all Indian players. He has scored one goal, three assists, and registered 25 touches inside the opposition box.

Mumbai have made 27.5% of their total passes (2,502 out of a total of 9,104 passes) in the defensive third, the highest in the league with an accuracy of 94.6%.

Hyderabad interim head coach Shameel Chembakath spoke on his team’s chances for the upcoming match.

“The players are focused on the match against Mumbai City FC. We have trained hard and hope to put up a positive performance at home.

Islanders' Czech head coach Peter Kratky said Mumbai City has the ability to get good results.

The players have the ability and that has helped us win important points throughout the season. But the important thing is that we try to reach as high a position as possible in the table, he said.

The two teams have played 11 matches in the ISL. Mumbai City FC has won four times while Hyderabad FC has won two matches. Five matches have been drawn.
