Tamil Nadu, 18 February (H.S.): K Annamil Nadu BJP President K Annamalai stated that once the BJP government comes to power in Tamil Nadu in 2026 under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the constitutionally fraudulent HR&CE Act, which is currently controlling temples in Tamil Nadu illegally, will be abolished.

The International Temples Convention and Expo 2025 commenced in Tirupati, with over 1,500 temples from around the world participating in the three-day event. Tamil Nadu BJP President K Annamalai attended the event and shared his thoughts on social media, emphasizing the need to eliminate fraudulent activities under the Temple Act.

Spoke about the way Temples have been an epicentre of economic development of eternal cities such as Tirupati, Varanasi, Ayodhya, Sri Rangan, Madurai, Ujjain, etc, that have evolved against the tide of time to foster growth and prosperity of our people.

He also express in his speech, Glad to be among great spiritual leaders, scholars, academicians, thinkers, and warriors who are constantly fighting for Dharma. The majestic temple of Lord Venkateshwara, managed by the TTD, is an epitome of efficient temple management. Took this opportunity to also reieiterate that the day NDA government, under the leadership of our Hon PM Thiru @narendramodiavl, is formed in Tamil Nadu in 2026, the constitutionally fraud HR&CE Act, that is continuing to control temples of TN illegally, will be abolished.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the convention, which focuses on in-depth discussions on topics like temple management, pilgrim experiences, and the adoption of modern technologies to enhance operational efficiency. Annamalai expressed his gratitude for being part of the convention and highlighted the significance of temples in promoting cultural heritage and economic development.

He mentioned that temples have been the epicenter of economic development in cities like Tirupati, Varanasi, Ayodhya, and Madurai, fostering growth and prosperity for the people. Annamalai also praised the efficient management of the Lord Venkateswara temple by the TTD.
