Toronto, 18 February (HS): A Delta Airlines plane overturned during landing at Toronto's Pearson Airport in Canada on Monday. The plane remained upside down on the runway. It is a matter of relief that no one died in the accident. 18 passengers who were slightly injured have been sent to the hospital. The reasons for the accident are not known yet, investigation is going on at the moment.

According to the Toronto Star report, a Delta Airlines plane overturned during landing at Pearson Airport on Monday. The accident occurred at around 2:15 pm. There were 76 passengers and 4 crew members on board the crashed plane. 18 passengers who were slightly injured in the accident have been taken to the hospital. Among the passengers, 22 were Canadian citizens and the rest were foreign nationals.

After the accident, two runways of the airport have been closed, which will remain closed for some time until the investigation is completed.
