Chandigarh, February 18 (HS): Terrorists targeted a policeman's house and carried out a blast last night in Punjab's border district Gurdaspur. Police is not saying anything officially in this matter but terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa has taken responsibility for the blast by posting a post. This is the 12th blast in the series of attacks and blasts on police stations in Punjab. Congress MP from Gurdaspur Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa visited the incident site on Tuesday morning and also made the pictures viral.

According to information, a massive blast took place last night in village Raimall of Dera Baba Nanak assembly constituency falling under Gurdaspur district. This blast took place at the house of policeman Jatinder Singh's uncle. According to unconfirmed sources, Jatinder Singh was to come here last night. Someone threw a grenade-like object from the street which broke the window and fell inside the house and there was a huge explosion.

On receiving the information of the incident, Gurdaspur SSP Suhail Qasim Mir reached the spot and FSL teams collected samples from there. According to the SSP, it was a low intensity explosion. Which is being investigated. There were no casualties in this. The police was still investigating the matter when Babbar Khalsa terrorist Happy Pasian posted and took responsibility for it. According to Happy Pasian, this blast was carried out with the help of Shera Mann.

It is said in the post that I, Happy Pasian and brother Shera accept the responsibility of the grenade attack that took place today at the house of Jatinder Policeman in village Raimal.

After the blast incident, former Deputy CM and MP of Punjab Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa reached to meet the family. Randhawa shared the pictures of the blast site on social media and wrote to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann that if these incidents do not stop, he will be responsible for it.

He said - Last night there was a grenade attack on the house of my fellow police officer's uncle in Raimall village of my assembly constituency Dera Baba Nanak. Before your police administration turns this explosion into a lie of 'tire burst or compressor burst', I am sharing the pictures of this dangerous explosion. The law and order situation in Punjab is getting worse day by day due to the continuous explosions in the border areas and the continuous silence of the Chief Minister.
