

New Delhi, 8 December (H.S.): The two-day Telangana Rising Summit 2025 kicked off at the Bharat Future City in Hyderabad on Monday, December 8, with wide participation from global delegates, government officials, industry leaders and celebrities.
The summit was held on a sprawling 100-acre campus at Future City in Kandukur, Ranga Reddy district. Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, the chief guest, arrived at the venue along with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, who inspected the exhibition stalls set up at the venue before the formal inauguration.
According to officials, delegates from 44 countries, including 154 international participants, attended the summit along with nearly 2,000 domestic and foreign guests. Advanced facilities and high-end infrastructure were put in place to host the mega global event.
Ahead of the inauguration, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy also unveiled the Telangana Thalli statue, marking the cultural and historical significance of the state.
The summit featured eminent speakers and distinguished personalities, including Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi, Indian-American economist and Nobel laureate Abhijit Banerjee, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, and actor Nagarjuna Akkineni.
Meanwhile, AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge extended his wishes for the success of the summit. In a letter to CM Revanth Reddy, he said it was encouraging to see Telangana taking forward a visionary agenda focused on inclusive development, innovation and global engagement under the ‘Telangana 2047’ vision. He expressed confidence that the state would continue to evolve as a global investment destination and innovation hub.
An official release said representatives of the Republic of Korea, the World Bank, Trump Media and Technology, and global companies such as Amazon and IKEA participated in the summit.
During the summit, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy spoke about the state government’s achievements over the last two years and outlined the future development roadmap. Key deliberations on the first day focused on Green Mobility, Telangana as a Global Education Hub, Semiconductors, and Frontier Technologies.
