Nagpur, 08 Dec (HS): The Winter Session of the

Maharashtra State Legislature began on Monday.

Seven official bills were tabled on the first day.

Both the Houses proposed a passed condolence resolutions on deaths of former

members – Ex-MLC and ex-minister Shivajirao Bhanudas Kardile, Mahadev Sukaji Shivankar, Bharat Rajabhau

Bondre, Shyam alias Jaradan Balkrishna Ashtekar. Yashvant Babaji Dalvi, Narayan

Nanu Ptel, Siddhamappa Malkappa Patil, Gilbert Jihn Mendosa, Rajiv Anil

Deshmukh, and Nirmala Shankarrao Thokal.

Following paying tributes to departed souls both the

Houses were adjourned for the day.
