Guwahati, 06 December (HS): The charge sheet in the Zubeen Garg death investigation will be submitted to the court on 12 December 2025, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) confirmed on Saturday.
SIT head Munna Prasad Gupta announced the development during a press briefing.
According to the Special Director General of Police, CID, the SIT has nearly completed its investigation into the case. So far, seven individuals have been arrested in connection with the probe.
The charge sheet will be filed in the case registered as 18/25 at the CID, while the investigation into the second related case, 19/25, will continue.
Officials further informed that the SIT has interrogated more than 300 people during the course of the investigation into the singer’s death.
