Nagaon (Assam), 05 December (HS): In a major breakthrough, Nagaon Police have arrested a four-member theft gang and recovered a substantial quantity of stolen materials during an operation in the Chinapatty area. The raid was conducted by a team led by Debajit Das, Officer-in-Charge of Nagaon Sadar Police Station.

Police said the arrested accused have been identified as Asiq Ali, Biswajit Biswas, Hasan Ali and Azarul Islam. The gang had allegedly been involved in stealing AC copper wires and other valuable items from different parts of Nagaon for a long time. The seized items have been taken into custody, and further investigation is underway, police PRO informed today.---------------
