
Amravati, 31 Dec (HS): More that two lakh followers are
expected to pay tributes to the martyrs at Bhima Koregaon Vijaystambh in
Amravati. The programme organised by the Samta Sainik Dal and Ex-servicemen’s
Organisation is set to achieve a world record on the occasion. They have been
organisjng the programme for the last 14 years, Chief of the Organising Committee
Kailash Morey infmrmed at a press conference.
A replica of the Vijaystambh at Bhima Koregaon has been
made. Besides a huge Panchasheel Flag, special dais has been erected for the
VIPs and prominent persons who will be honoured.
Food stalls for visitors from outside and adequate
parking space for vehicles have been arranged. More than 50 book stalls are
added attraction for the event.
Milind Inamdar (Kalambi), the 12th
generation of representative of the Bhima Koregaon War of 1818 Senapati
Siddhanak Mahar, will be the chief guest.
