Amravati, 30 Dec (HS): The Water Conservation

Officer of Amravati Zilla Parishad Sub-Division (Minor Irrigation) has been

reported absent from his office in Chikhaldara, which is locked for the last

few days. People are facing problems as the work has come to a standstill. None

of the visitors to the office was given information about cause of his absence

from the office.

Local people’s representatives and villagers have

demanded immediate enquiry into his absence and action against the erring

officer.
