London, 3 December (H.S.): Television presenter Holly Willoughby has been fined £1,653 and given six penalty points on her driving licence after admitting to driving her Mini Cooper without due care and attention near her home in Richmond, south-west London.
The 44-year-old former This Morning host did not attend the hearing at Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court, instead entering a guilty plea by post and being ordered to pay the penalty within 14 days.
Incident Caps Turbulent Period For Ex-‘This Morning’ Star
Court documents state the offence occurred on 28 August on a local road close to Willoughby’s multimillion-pound property, where she was found to have fallen below the standard of a careful and competent driver under UK traffic law.
The conviction follows a difficult couple of years for the presenter, who quit ITV’s This Morning in October 2023 after a kidnapping plot against her and a high-profile fallout surrounding former co-host Phillip Schofield.
