Manchester, 3 December (H.S.): Manchester City star striker Erling Haaland etched his name in Premier League history on Tuesday by becoming the fastest player to reach 100 goals, achieving the milestone in just 111 appearances during a pulsating 5-4 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Haaland opened the scoring with a ferocious left-footed strike in the 17th minute, surpassing Alan Shearer's previous record set in 124 games. Phil Foden netted twice, Tijjani Reijnders added one, and Sander Berge's own goal helped City build a 5-1 lead, though Fulham mounted a fierce comeback with goals from Samuel Chukwueze (twice) and Alex Iwobi before Josko Gvardiol's injury-time goal-line clearance sealed the win. The result keeps City second with 28 points, two behind leaders Arsenal.
