29 Dec (HS): Chief Minister and Gorakshapeethadhiswar Yogi Adityanath performed

Rudrabhishek on Monday morning and prayed to Lord Mahadev, the Supreme God who

showers blessings on all living beings, for the welfare of the people.

Completing the Rudrabhishek ritual with a havan, he prayed for the happiness

and prosperity of all citizens.

On

the last Monday of the year 2025, in the morning, at the Shaktipeeth located on

the first floor of his residence in Gorakhnath Temple, CM Yogi performed

Rudrabhishek with water and milk after offering several worship materials

including Belpatra, Durva, Madar Patra, Lotus flower to Lord Bholenath. The

learned Acharyas and priests of the Math performed Rudrabhishek with the

Mahamantras of Rudrashtadhyayi of Shukla Yajurveda Samhita. After Rudrabhishek,

Gorakshapeethadhiswar performed havan amidst chanting of Vedic mantras. After

the Rudrabhishek ritual completed as per the rituals, Chief Minister Yogi

Adityanath wished the people of the state a healthy, happy, prosperous and

peaceful life.
