Bullion traders attributed this remarkable rally to international price movements, strong festive season demand, and a weaker rupee against the U.S. dollar. The global uptick in gold and silver prices has clearly spilled over into the Indian market, leading to new record highs in several cities simultaneously.
As December draws to a close, both gold and silver continue to dominate investor interest, with analysts predicting sustained momentum into early 2026 amid geopolitical uncertainties and continued preference for precious metals as safe-haven assets.
