Delhi, 26 December (H.S.): Madhya Pradesh’s Suraj Sharma clinched a golden double on Friday, sweeping both the senior and junior men’s titles in the 25m rapid fire pistol at the National Shooting Championships here.

Suraj dominated the senior final from the outset, hitting 19 of his first 20 targets, before closing the contest with 31 hits. He finished three shots ahead of defending champion Vijayveer Sidhu of Punjab, who took the silver medal with 28 hits.

Rajasthan’s Bhavesh Shekhawat completed the podium, securing the bronze with a total of 24 hits.
