New Delhi, 26 December (H.S.): On the occasion of Veer Baal Diwas, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Working President Nitin Nabin offered prayers at the Gurdwara Bangla Sahib in Delhi on Friday. He bowed before the Guru Sahib and performed ardas (prayer) in reverence to the unparalleled sacrifice of Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Sahibzades.He was accompanied by Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva and Delhi government minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa during the visit.

The leaders paid homage and participated in prayers at one of the most prominent Sikh shrines in the national capital, which saw a steady stream of devotees throughout the day marking the solemn remembrance.

Speaking to media persons on the occasion, Nitin Nabin said, “The Sahibzades, the brave sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, made the supreme sacrifice at a tender age to protect Dharma (righteousness). Their courage, conviction, and devotion to duty will continue to inspire our nation and society for generations to come.”

Veer Baal Diwas, observed annually on December 26, commemorates the martyrdom of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh Ji and Sahibzada Fateh Singh Ji, the younger sons of the tenth Sikh Guru, who were martyred for refusing to renounce their faith. The day is marked across India with tributes, prayers, and events that celebrate their indomitable spirit and sacrifice.
