New Delhi, 22 December (H.S.): An Air India flight bound for Mumbai from Indira Gandhi International Airport executed a precautionary emergency landing mere minutes after departure on Monday morning, ensuring the safety of all passengers and crew aboard Flight AI-887.

Official reports confirmed that the aircraft, which took off on schedule from Delhi, encountered technical indications in the cockpit shortly after ascent, prompting the pilot to promptly initiate a return to base. The swift decision facilitated a safe touchdown back at the Delhi airport, with no injuries reported among the passengers or crew members.
