
Nadia, 20 December (H.S.): Amidst the ongoing political tensions in West Bengal over the SIR, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to the state on Saturday. A public meeting is organized in Taherpur, Nadia district, where a large crowd has begun to gather.
Meanwhile, three people were killed on the spot after being hit by a train, while two others sustained serious injuries. The injured were immediately admitted to Shaktinagar Hospital, where their condition is reported to be critical.
As per information, the deceased and injured were all residents of Murshidabad district and had gone to Taherpur in Nadia to attend Prime Minister Modi's rally.
Senior railway and police officials rushed to the spot upon receiving information about the incident. An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the accident. The administration is conducting a thorough inquiry into the entire matter.
