Kochi, 02 December(HS): Even as the Kerala Police is in hot pursuit of him in connection with raping and assaulting a young lady, Rahul Mamkoottathil, MLA and suspended Congress leader, has been accused of brutal rape and physical attack by another girl.

The president of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee received a complaint from the lady on Tuesday and the same has been forwarded to the State Police Chief by the former after discussions with senior leaders of the party.

The victim has sent copies of the complaint to Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.

The copy of the complaint filed by the victim has reached most news offices, and social media has gone berserk with it.

The complainant alleges that Rahul Mamkoottathil managed to trap her with the help of another Congress leader, and both of them raped her against her plea to leave her alone.

The alleged rape and molestation took place in a Home Stay in the State.

The victim has not furnished the date and place where the alleged crime took place. After the heinous act, she was bundled into a car and dropped near her residence.

The wording of the letter is in a heartrending format. Meanwhile the MLA is on the run from the hands of the law, and the cops are searching him in the States of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, where he is believed to have taken refuge.
